Ukkohalla Ski Resort
Ukkohalla Ski Resort offers a wide variety of slopes as well as the Halla Snow Park. There is a long winter season, and plenty of space on the slopes to enjoy skiing. The area also has a children’s area and a sledding hill for the youngest members of the family.
Sauna World
Sauna World and spa has several saunas, such as an infrared sauna and a smoke sauna, as well as refreshing pools with massage equipment. You can take a dip in the Lake Syväjärvi all year round!
Safaries and Adventures
Ukkohalla Safaris and Adventures offers modern and safe rental snowmobiles as well as guided snowmobile safaris. In summer, they also organizes a variety of ATV and enduro events.
Halla Wake Park
Halla Wake Park is the world’s northernmost full-size wakeboarding cable park. During the summer season, Halla Wake Park operates as a family-friendly water sports center, offering equipment rentals for wakeboarding.
Poroparoni reindeer farm
A reindeer safari farm in Hyrynsalmi, offering visitors the chance to learn about reindeer herding and the daily life of reindeer herders in the traditional natural landscapes of Kainuu.
Mountain biking
Rent electric fat bikes suitable for mountain biking, for both adults and children. The bikes can be rented for three hours, a full day, or multiple days.
Destination Yamaha
UGGO Resort’s 75-hectare driving track center features four Yamaha YXZ 1000R side-by-side sport ATVs. The Uggo Motor Park is located in Hyrynsalmi, in close proximity to Ukkohalla and UGGO Villa. The enclosed driving area consists of several separate tracks, each offering its own unique challenge for driving enthusiasts.
Racing Center JT
Racing Center JT offers rally driving training, as well as guided fishing and hunting trips.
Seija’s Riding Stable
Seija’s Riding Stable is an SRL-approved member stable located in Hyrynsalmi, right next to the Ukkohalla tourist center. The stable has horses and ponies, a lit riding arena, and beautiful trails.
Bowling
Ukkohalla bowling alley has 6 lanes with a glow bowling option. It is located beside Restaurant Hallan Karhu, right next to the ski slopes.
Talvipyöräily

Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing at Ukkohalla is possible on marked trails as well as independently on forest paths. Snowshoes for both adults and children are available for rent, and the trails are suitable for beginners.
