Ukkohalla’s location is unique: a holiday village built by the lake offers the ideal setting for unforgettable, year-round getaways. Experience magical nature right on your doorstep: the ancient forests of Vorlok, Kainuu’s highest hills, a nature park, and stunning natural attractions such as the Hepoköngäs and Komulanköngäs waterfalls. The area is one of the snowiest regions in Finland. The Ukkohalla Masterplan 2030 outlines the essential actions that will enable the area’s growth and development in a responsible and sustainable manner. The development program has been prepared in collaboration with the municipality of Hyrynsalmi, local entrepreneurs, cottage owners, and the tourism association.

Arctic Sky Village – 15 000m² building rights

Arctic Sky Village is being developed around the Sky Cabin glass suites, built in 2020. Planned investments will require land-use planning as well as the construction of water and sewer networks in cooperation with the municipality. Finding investors and entrepreneurs is scheduled for 2025–2027.

Designed investments for the Ski-in village approximately €15 million

The municipality of Hyrynsalmi has ready-to-build plots, enabling the construction of ski-in ski-out apartments in the center of the holiday village, right next to the services and ski resort.
